It's a memorable scene, about how we can reach between here and the 'there' that is beyond us. Also, it shows how humanity can be better than angelic and divine perfection.

Wonderful scene! I loved the backdrop of Berlin... which has always fascinated me since the 70's and I started listening to electronic music, a lot of which originated there.
