Awaken the Amnesiacs 12A: You're Locked in Here with Me

KEVIN SPACEY AND HIS BIZARRE CHRISTMAS EVE VIDEO | Double Toasted (25 December 2019). Video Source: Youtube.

To follow on my previous post on Kevin Spacey's Christmas video, see the above discussion from Double Toasted, which explains Spacey's video clearly. As host Korey Coleman points out, Spacey is owning his alleged sexual predator status and is using the scandal as a dark moment of supervillain self-empowerment. Notice the public reaction is one of confusion and puzzlement. We in the public are offended, but that has no effect on Kevin Spacey. Instead, he blossoms. We are taken off guard, our status as moral arbiters shaken and it provokes discussion as to what is going on, when in fact the punishment, if Spacey were to be found guilty, should be swift and severe. Instead, the mob withdraws to laugh, to chat about it, to wonder what is happening. We can't help but admire the audacity of it, the sheer insanity of the situation.

This is a supervillain victory. Supervillains have milestone moments too, and unfortunately, everyone identifies with this because the Internet peddles motivation, ego-boosting formulas, and self-improvement, beyond what is right and wrong. This reveals how social media can be turned upside down, to invert values, to appeal with negativity, to charm with revulsion. Spacey comes into his own as a supervillain, extending his bat wings and letting his scales breathe for the first time. As I stated in my previous post, Spacey's new theatre is the public space in virtual reality.

The message is, as Double Toasted host Martin Thomas states, akin to that of the Watchmen's Rorschach: I'm not locked in here with you. You're locked in here with me. Social media platforms are one big prison, and we're locked in with the celebrity lunatic who can, with one tweak of the atmosphere, unhinge us all. Double Toasted's Korey Goodwin stated: "I've never had somebody aggressively act at me."

Awaken the Amnesiacs 12: Kevin Spacey's Fourth Wall Christmas

On Christmas Eve, the American actor Kevin Spacey posted a sociopathic video, entitled KTWK, on Youtube. He appeared in character as House of Cards' Jack Underwood and uttered veiled threats at unnamed nemeses.

Masculine Character Development: The Female as Subtext

Dick Grayson evaded capture in all versions of the Judas Contract. Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Judas Contract #1 (2019). Copyright DC Comics, reproduced under Fair Use.

When I started this blog in 2010, I went back to square one in childhood, and reviewed some of the pop culture stories that influenced my writing. The most important of these was the DC Comics tale, The Judas Contract, in which a female character, Terra, was decimated and committed suicide. Other writers have commented on how much this story affected them, most notably, Brad Meltzer.

In serial writing, the term for the history of a story line or single character is a 'continuity.' My whole continuity for Terra is here.

This week, DC published an alt-version of the Judas Contract, Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Judas Contract #1, which demonstrates how a female character can be used covertly in story-telling to reveal the biggest flaws of prominent male characters, while leaving primary masculine characterizations unsullied. In this case, the Judas Contract sheds light on Batman's darkest secret. My review is added to the bottom of this earlier post.

The Batman-Robin subtext was not just a gay subtext, as discussed by Slate. Image Source: DC via Slate.

For those who already know the story, you will finally understand why Dick Grayson was the only character to escape in the Judas Contract's opening attack. For those who don't, the review is still relevant in light of the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew scandal, which could almost be seen as the real world version of the Judas Contract.

Our Father, Who Art in Silicon: Censorship of Social Media and the War over the Virtual World

A livecam (here) constantly broadcasts footage of the Centennial Light, a light bulb which has been burning since 1901. The bulb, located in a fire station in Livermore, California, USA, is taken as a proof of planned obsolescence in industry. Image Source: mnn.

Do you know who you are? One can define oneself in terms of the past, present, or future. Tech companies are currently censoring social media to produce a toxic, Orwellian 'now,' in which past content is being erased on the grounds that it is not authoritative. In Nineteen Eighty-Four, the main character, Winston Smith, is a 'historian' in that nightmare world. Or rather, he is what historians will become: a censor. Winston Smith erases history and creates new versions of it, from one hundred years ago, right down to yesterday.

In anticipation of the American 2020 election, among other agendas, tech corporations are becoming Orwellian censors. In the past month on Youtube, Google has begun weirdly removing date stamps from videos. Today, Youtube will begin erasing past content of which they disapprove.

Donald Trump's Day Pass in Camelot

The late JFK Jr. and his wife Carolyn Bessette. Image Source: Esquire.

I have published a new post at Vocal Media about myth-making in politics:

The article concerns the rumours spread by Donald Trump's contact and adviser, Roger Stone, who was convicted of lying to Congress on 15 November 2019 about connections between WikiLeaks' 2016 US Democratic Party email release, Julian Assange and Donald Trump.

Stone's response to the Mueller investigation was considered glib and inappropriate. This was because Stone regards everything in mainstream politics as a puppet show staged by the so-called Deep State. The Deep State narrative allows Stone and other pro-Trump activists to conflate Donald Trump's presidency with that of John F. Kennedy.

New Post at The Dragonfly: The Long Gameplay

I have a new post up at The Dragonfly:

This post on video gamers' skills peripherally considers a topic I have been discussing on this blog, namely, that the way we interact with technology is intimate, disturbing, and involves a global meditation on our species' long term survival.

The human-tech interface concerns how we use tools to augment our five senses. I suspect that two camps will emerge from this process. One group, the anti-materialists, will use technology to enhance our organic capabilities. The other group, the materialists, will evolve into cyborgs and will cultivate artificial versions of those organic capabilities.

Epstein's Island Temple Theatre

EXCLUSIVE: First-Ever Look Inside Epstein’s Private Island (28 October 2019). Video Source: Youtube.

The videos of the season are currently going viral on Youtube. They were posted three hours ago. Above, is We are Change's exclusive visit to Jeffrey Epstein's island of Little St. James in the Caribbean. Aside from drone footage from a channel run by an Anon under the name of 'Rusty Shackleford,' this is the first independent media footage of the island.

Not what it seemed. Image Source: Reddit.

The main discovery of alt-media interlopers Jeff Berwick and Luke Rudkowski is that the island is guarded by gargoyles, which are dotted everywhere. They bear shields with a star spanned by two crescent moons. Aside from that, they look like they come straight from a garden centre. For the most part, the place had been cleaned out and the house was unlocked. Berwick and Rudkowski did not have time to search the grounds for tunnels and underground structures, which had been the subject of widespread speculation.

However, Epstein's gaudy temple has a front door which is painted on; and the now-missing dome was not functional. This made the building look up close like a Hollywood movie set. You can see Rusty Shackleford's drone footage of the temple from 12 July 2019 here; the drone had trouble capturing and revealing this illusion.

These details raise the question: how much of the Epstein scandal was real, and how much of it was fake? It seems unlikely that the whole Epstein case was falsified to create a puppet show pantomime, which would deceive the conservative populists and crypto-anarchist part of the masses. It would not be the first time that a Potemkin Village was built to create a false impression of reality.

The possibility that Epstein's island was only theatre, and could have been a Potemkin Village den of child abuse is somehow more horrible than the possibility that it was a real site of torture, mind control, child rape and human trafficking. I do not mention this to play down the sufferings of potential victims. But the paranoia and world view that one would have to have in order to see the island as a Hollywood set for negative fake propaganda is somehow worse than seeing it as a real Island of Doctor Moreau.

Materialist Rhetoric: The Cosmic Indifference of Alien AI Gods

From Alan Moore's Lovecraftian comic, Providence. Image Source: Xataka.

This week, I am selecting vocabulary used by materialists to reveal their long game. Materialism here refers loosely to those who subscribe to secular and scientific values, that is, those who explore the world in the strictly physical sense.

I deconstruct some materialist values here, not to write an anti-scientific or technophobic screed, but to consider alternative approaches toward science and technology. I mean to show here that what we think of as 'rationalism,' 'secularism,' 'materialism,' 'science,' and 'technology' are social constructions, grounded in obsolete, 19th and 20th century modernist concepts of order and madness. I will discuss this historical background in future posts.

Can we build AI without losing control over it? | Sam Harris (19 October 2016). Video Source: Youtube.

In recent years, several tech leaders have come forward to predict the rise of artificial intelligence. The prediction rests on a definition of intelligence as 'information processing' and 'interactivity,' about which I have blogged here. Developers consider AI 'goal-setting' to be the same thing as human dreaming. The AI vocabulary projects machine processes onto human cognition, and removes the extra-sensory, the anti-materialistic, or any magical thinking that is otherwise undefined in physical terms.

If one adheres to this set of ideas, one removes emotional, moral and ethical concerns from intelligence. One ignores non-linear, lateral, interstitial, and other undefinable elements that are part of the purely human, non-mechanical experience. (Thanks to -D.)

Materialist Proposition 1: Progress is Worship, Expressed through Physical Augmentation of Natural Ability

Quantum Computers - An Altar To An 'Alien god'! Doorway To Other Dimensions And Image Of The Beast! (2 February 2017). Video Source: Youtube.

Tech leaders like Geordie Rose, father of marketed quantum computers, adhere to a 19th century vision of 'progress.' They believe that history is an upward story of human and scientific expansion. We must develop bodies, societies and systems which transcend the limits of biology.

ideacity 2019 - Geordie Rose - Synthetic Minds, Cooperation and the Future of Humanity (21 June 2019). Video Source: Youtube.

In this view, the brain is a machine, which we will decode, mechanize and develop with the help of artificial intelligence. Because of its independent functions and the symbiotic assistance it will provide during our brain upgrades, the AI will appear to us like an alien god. Technologists admit this god will destroy our humanity, but that is acceptable, because the god will help one nation get ahead of another in the geopolitical balance of power. That, or the god will cure cancer.

Despite their supposed adherence to logical explanations, these technologists justify themselves through glib asides. They never ask if there is an alternative to 19th century scientific progress. They do not reflect on whether their political biases pose problems for their planning. They never consider whether the nation-state is a dated idea. They never refer to the evolutionary purpose which cancer may serve, about which I have blogged, here and here. They certainly never ask (at least publicly) if there are extra-physical aspects of human cognition, which cannot be simulated. It does not matter if the consequences of technologists' blind spots will result in species-wide slavery. In fact, that is the expected result.

The real question, then, concerns the developers' ambitions. A very small number of humans aim to control the machines that will control the bulk of humankind. XPRIZE founder Peter Diamandis remarked:
"Today, a group of 20 individuals empowered by the exponential growing technologies of AI and robotics and computers and networks and eventually nanotechnology can do what only nation states could have done before."
These humans will act, based on their limited intelligence and values. If the story of the AI as alien god is really a story about the ambitions of a tiny group of tech moguls and billionaires, we should identify the real beliefs of this group.

Materialist Rhetoric: The Savage

Ariana Grande - 7 rings (2019). Video Source: Youtube.

This week, I am selecting words from the technosphere that reveal the materialist mindset, be it from scientists, technologists or capitalists. Today's word, from the last, is savage. The lyrics are below; this video version of Grande's My Favorite Things cover on Youtube has over 603 million views.

Ariana Grande, 7 Rings (released 1 February 2019)

Yeah, breakfast at Tiffany's and bottles of bubbles
Girls with tattoos who like getting in trouble
Lashes and diamonds, ATM machines
Buy myself all of my favorite things (yeah)
Been through some bad shit, I should be a sad bitch
Who woulda thought it'd turn me to a savage?
Rather be tied up with cuffs and not strings
Write my own checks like I write what I sing, yeah (yeah)
My wrist, stop watchin', my neck is flossin'
Make big deposits, my gloss is poppin'
You like my hair? Gee, thanks, just bought it

I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it (yeah)
I want it, I got it, I want it, I got it
I want it, I got it, I want it, I got it
You like my hair? Gee, thanks, just bought it
I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it (yeah)

Wearing a ring, but ain't gon' be no "Mrs."
Bought matching diamonds for six of my bitches
I'd rather spoil all my friends with my riches
Think retail therapy my new addiction
Whoever said money can't solve your problems
Must not have had enough money to solve 'em
They say, "Which one?" I say, "Nah, I want all of 'em"
Happiness is the same price as red-bottoms
My smile is beamin', my skin is gleamin'
The way it shine, I know you've seen it (you've seen it)
I bought a crib just for the closet
Both his and hers, I want it, I got it, yeah

I want it, I got it, I want it, I got it
I want it, I got it, I want it, I got it (baby)
You like my hair? Gee, thanks, just bought it (oh yeah)
I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it (yeah)

Yeah, my receipts, be lookin' like phone numbers
If it ain't money, then wrong number
Black card is my business card
The way it be settin' the tone for me
I don't mean to brag, but I be like, "Put it in the bag," yeah
When you see them racks, they stacked up like my ass, yeah
Shoot, go from the store to the booth
Make it all back in one loop, give me the loot
Never mind, I got the juice
Nothing but net when we shoot
Look at my neck, look at my jet
Ain't got enough money to pay me respect
Ain't no budget when I'm on the set
If I like it, then that's what I get, yeah

I want it, I got it, I want it, I got it (yeah)
I want it, I got it, I want it, I got it (oh yeah, yeah)
You like my hair? Gee, thanks, just bought it
I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it (yeah)

Materialist Rhetoric: The Splice

A rat embryo. Image Source: Science Pictures ltd/SPL via Science.

This week, I am highlighting vocabulary which is being used by materialists to explain their long term goals and beliefs. I will then expand on where all this is going. For today, a news headline from The Post Millennial: Japanese scientists to grow rat embryos spliced with 30 percent human DNA. The plan is to grow human organs inside animals, and the word 'splice' is equated with 'help.' The plan was explained in Nature on 26 July 2019:
"A Japanese stem-cell scientist is the first to receive government support to create animal embryos that contain human cells and transplant them into surrogate animals since a ban on the practice was overturned earlier this year.

Hiromitsu Nakauchi, who leads teams at the University of Tokyo and Stanford University in California, plans to grow human cells in mouse and rat embryos and then transplant those embryos into surrogate animals. Nakauchi's ultimate goal is to produce animals with organs made of human cells that can, eventually, be transplanted into people.

Until March, Japan explicitly forbade the growth of animal embryos containing human cells beyond 14 days or the transplant of such embryos into a surrogate uterus. That month, Japan’s education and science ministry issued new guidelines allowing the creation of human–animal embryos that can be transplanted into surrogate animals and brought to term. ...

Nakauchi says he plans to proceed slowly, and will not attempt to bring any hybrid embryos to term for some time. Initially, he plans to grow hybrid mouse embryos until 14.5 days, when the animal’s organs are mostly formed and it is almost to term. He will do the same experiments in rats, growing the hybrids to near term, about 15.5 days. Later, Nakauchi plans to apply for government approval to grow hybrid embryos in pigs for up to 70 days."

Quantum Computing Rhetoric: In a Word, Supremacy

Demonstrating Quantum Supremacy (23 October 2019). Video Source: Youtube.

In an attempt to understand where advanced technology is headed in cultural terms, I will begin simply by presenting examples of rhetoric used at Silicon Valley Corporations and by other tech developers. Each word provides the vocabulary of a new priestly class. Today's word comes from Google: supremacy.

What's Left Over? The Materialist Algorithm for Cognition

This post continues my investigation of materialism and anti-materialism as competing responses to technology. My central argument is that right-wing and left-wing descriptions of politics and the economy are misleading and obsolete. Politics and economics are evolving to mirror tech-oriented materialism and anti-materialism. The worst of the former is leading to tyrannical political oppression. The worst of the latter is leading to an alienation from the mainstream consensus about reality.

Thus far in this blog series, I have focussed on materialism as a way of seeing the world, which is grounded in empiricism, scientific exploration, rationalism, secularism, and the associated economic mode of capitalist consumption. All of these aspects concentrate on humankind's five senses and how they can measure and experience the physical realm.

More radical forms of materialism reveal where this is stance is headed. In 2013, Stephen J. Cowley and Frédéric Vallée-Tourangeau edited a collected volume of scholarly essays entitled, Cognition beyond the Brain: Computation, Interactivity and Human Artifice. The editors explain that the notion that we are free to think inside our heads is a fairy tale. They argue that the thoughts we have inside our own heads as private expressions of personal existence, and as ego-controlled responses to the outside world, constitute a bedtime story we tell ourselves about our independence as individual beings.

'Thinking,' for these academics, is not an internalized activity expressing the cognitive power and freedom of a single, rational creature. Rather, as I suggested in my post, Who Writes Your Reality?, 'thinking' is a culturally-modulated experience. It is even possibly constructed from the outside in. That is, your brain from this materialist standpoint is like a Tabula rasa, upon which the outside world may write its programs as it wishes. The editors of Cognition beyond the Brain call old-fashioned notions of subjective 'thinking' a 'folk concept,' a culturally-shaped story we tell ourselves about what we are doing:
"Like all folk concepts, ‘thinking’ is a second-order construct used to ‘explain’ observations or, specifically, how action is—and should be—integrated with perception."
This is a radical departure from the earlier Postmodern deification of the subjective mind, wherein social objectivities were demolished and everyone's personal truth was considered sacrosanct.

New Post at The Dragonfly: The Secret Worship I

Hidden Treasure by Nicholas Roerich (1947). Image Source: Words of Power.

I have a new post up at The Dragonfly:

The post explores the idea that our realities are shaped by fiction genres, the implications of that fact, and asks how we may escape from the genre as a story-telling device.

The post continues my contemplation of the evolution of a secret religion of the Self inside secularist rationalism and materialism. It is necessary to understand these moral and mental prisons in order to encourage the growth of science and technology today, while preventing their distortion into exploitation and tyranny.

To Know What World We Live In: The Son of Sam

Untermyer Park, Yonkers, New York, USA. Image Source: Atlas Obscura.

For the past several years, I have participated in the Hallowe'en Countdown blogathon. I won't this year, due to personal matters. But I will touch on topics this month which were intended for the countdown. The first such issue concerns David Berkowitz's Son of Sam murders in 1976 and 1977 in New York City. A case summary is here. I have previously blogged about this case, here.

The Temple of Love in Untermyer Gardens. Image Source: Untapped Cities.

In an April 1977 letter left by Berkowitz near one of his murder scenes, the killer referred to himself as the 'Son of Sam': "I am a monster. I am the 'Son of Sam.'" Berkowitz later claimed that 'Sam' was his former neighbour, Sam Carr, and that 'Son of Sam' referred to Carr's demon-possessed dog. Others have speculated that 'Sam' referred to the USA as 'Uncle Sam.' The police offered the possessed dog story to the public, even though a psychiatrist who assessed Berkowitz believed that the killer knew the dog story was bunk.

Thus, at the heart of this case, the name which Berkowitz adopted for himself remains a mystery.

I noticed a curious coincidence in the Persian poem, The Shahnameh (شاهنامه) or The Book of Kings. Written by the poet Ferdowsi, it is the national epic of Iran; it took over thirty years to compose and has almost one thousand chapters. While the poem was completed around 1010 CE, it refers to the much earlier history of the Persian Empire in mythical and quasi-historical terms, from the dawn of time up to the Arab Islamic conquest. You can read the work in English translation, here and here.

There is a section in The Shahnameh entitled, Zāl, the Son of Sam, about an albino child who is rejected by his father, a warrior named Sam:
"No human being of this earth
Could give to such a monster birth;
He must be of the Demon race,
Though human still in form and face."
The father abandons the child on a mountaintop to die, where the baby is raised by Simurgh, the "Shah of birds." You can read the tale of Sam and his son Zaal in English prose translation here and here. Zaal becomes a Persian king who lives for three hundred years and watches his personal dynasty fail and die.

The Simurgh: The Flight of the Simorgh (ca. 1590 CE). Painted at the Mughal Court of Akbar by the artist Basawan. Image Source: The Seringapatam Times.

When Berkowitz adopted 'Son of Sam' as his alter ego, he may have been referring to Sam and Zaal in The Shahnameh, or to a corrupted derivative thereof adopted by New York City's hippie cultists.

There is more to the story of Jeffrey Epstein's Games-without-Frontiers lifestyle and demise than meets the eye. The mainstream and Underground are coming at this story from many angles, but they all conclude that Epstein was a spy. Did he work for the UK? For the USA? For Israel? For Russia?

What's Left Over? A Plague on Both Your Houses

"Star cross'd lovers take their life." 'Life' is singular. One life is lost when Romeo and Juliet die, because the two characters form one character in death. Romeo + Juliet (1996) prologue. (1996) © 20th Century Fox Video Source: Youtube.

The New Millennium is synonymous with the future, and if you identify with that future, you may have noticed a trend which enflames polarities, but then oddly reconciles opposites, even between right- and left-wing politics. A Millennial third way seeks the Sun (masculine), Moon (feminine), and Stars (the higher union). Or: Past, Present, and Future.

There are different routes to the third way, and not every path is positive. The future's third way may follow the current course of world politics. After a prologue in conflict, it may destroy polarities through war and conflagration. Or it may erase polarities through technological, social and biological engineering.

Whether we follow the path of war or technocracy, the course will be materialistic. There is an alternative, however, which is anti-materialist. This blog post continues my series, What's Left Over?, which reappraises Millennial politics and political culture in terms of materialism and anti-materialism. I argue that the alternative media are not alt-right so much as alt-material. Their radicalism is not grounded in outdated left-right political paradigms, as much as it is in the political connotations of living in, and with, virtual reality.

Prologue in Conflict

U.S. set to hit China with new wave of tariffs on September 1st (31 August 2019). Video Source: Youtube.

Paradoxically, the institution of higher, unifying principles is preceded today by a deliberate exacerbation and intensification of differences. It could be one way of bringing about the desired union in the long term. Think of a couple fighting, followed by make-up sex. This may be the long game behind mainstream propaganda which has worsened political differences and regional tensions and has left us feeling that there is no chance to negotiate in order to solve problems.

Boris Johnson suggests prorogation will help negotiate Brexit deal with EU (30 August 2019). Video Source: Youtube.

Brexit. Lebanon. Kashmir. Hong Kong. Egypt. You may abhor or adore the populists and their elitist opponents, or the democratic and anti-democratic factions, or honour the aggressors or victims. But it could be that all are servants of this greater aim, this third way, whether they know it or not. They worsen conflicts which will eventually obliterate the very barriers they are erecting. And perhaps this was the aim all along, to push things so far that finally we begin to break down divisions between different perspectives and ways of living.

A transcendent third way to overcome past and present problems is a very old idea. It is evident in symbols like the Yin and Yang, the Hammer and Sickle, and the Star of David or Shatkona. All could be taken as representations of the act of sex, the union of masculine and feminine energies. Equally important in east and west, as critical for the ancients as for the moderns, the higher union or third way is a code for nothing less than the survival of our species. As such, it is a positive idea.

The Hammer and Sickle symbol goes beyond the Hegelian dialectic. It confirms the occult roots of socialism. The hammer represents masculinity, while the sickle refers to femininity in harvest and death. Both symbols imply creative and destructive aspects of gender symbolism in northern mythological traditions. Image Source: Russia Beyond.

What's Left Over? Eating, Sex and Death

From The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover, directed by Peter Greenway. This is the scene in which the cook explains why some ingredients on the menu are more expensive than others. Black Foods (18 February 2014). Video Source: Youtube. The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover (1989) © Palace Pictures / Miramax. Scene reproduced non-commercially under Fair Use.

Eating and sex. Sex and eating. Sex and death. Eating and death. If these primal experiences encompass our beginnings and our ends, then surely they are related, and how they are related forms the bases of whole civilizations.

Troubled Van Helsings

Eating, sex and death have been married to technology to encourage adoption of invasive interfaces such as hand chips and brain implants. If we want to retain our cognitive liberty, we need to understand the age-old archetypes onto which technology is being piggy-backed. We must learn how these archetypes really work in our societies, beyond the blindness imposed by social conditioning, politics, hoaxes and taboos.

There are a couple of challenges here. Firstly, the notion that truth-telling and whistle-blowing will free us draws us deeper into the technosphere, which is already programmed along the lines of eating (constant consumption), sex, and death. As alt-researchers post Youtube exposé after podcast revelation, they are socially conditioned to accept the idea that technology can liberate us from social conditioning. The very act of developing counter-narratives to destroy the illusion draws us deeper into said illusion. We become addicted to the expectation that technology will lead us to a higher truth, rather than deeper into lies. There's a line in the 1999 film 8mm: "When you dance with the Devil, the Devil don't change. The Devil changes you."

The second problem is that even the most red-pilled individuals have trouble accepting the reality they see on the other side of illusions meant to corral and control us. One Youtuber, who catalogues a sub-genre of horrible revelations which I won't describe here, rambles, "I don't think I'm gonna make it. I've got thousands more photos to get through. I don't want to exist in the same reality as these beings." To accept what these alt-researchers uncover would require an overturn of the current order. It would require a revolution.

I don't think the Internet's Van Helsings are up to slaying the world's vampires. And given the first problem, who is to say these truth-seekers have not become more deeply deluded in the course of their investigations? Perhaps their rabbit holes have led them from an old school psyop into a new school psyop.

What the online Van Helsings have a uncovered is a vampiristic order based on the consumption of others, mainly through draining the energy of the population in the mainstream workforce and in an underworld of human trafficking, sexual exploitation and pedophilia. You can see typical chatter of this kind in the interview with a Scotland Yard whistle-blower, Jon Wedger, above. Wedger maintains that child rape is endemic in the upper echelons of British society. He claims that decades' worth of cases have been covered up by the police. The malaise exists because there are symbolic and occult connotations around the consumption of youthful life and energy. The problem persists because the respectable middle classes refuse to consider, openly acknowledge, or act on the problem. They have too much invested in maintaining the established order as it currently exists, no matter how twisted it is.

But if people like Wedger are divulging the truth, why would the problem of pedophilia exist in the first place? Wedger alluded vaguely to the spread of paganism and Satanism, but more broadly to a general culture of exploitation of vulnerable people. This does somewhat confirm the redefinition of sex alongside the introduction of popular technology. The materialist order denies the viability of sex as a mode of reproductive renewal. Reproduction must be safely transported into the controlled confines of the lab. Sex is a non-creative act of self-pleasuring and energy consumption in the material world. The suspicion that we are all consumable or recyclable and are trapped inside a larger power structure was sparked by the 1999 film, The Matrix. In that fiction, the materialist overlords were machines who had entrapped humankind in a huge illusion.

Materialist Transcendence: Eating and Consumption

Even the most blue-pilled individual understands that we live in an order dominated by materialism. The primary challenge in such an order is overcoming boredom when one is denied access, internally and externally, to celestial mysteries.

The materialist order is nominally rationalist, secularist and scientifically-driven. Covertly, it seeks ways to achieve transcendence through the physical realm. Conspicuous consumption. Out-of-control spending. Kinky sex. Constructed lifestyles. But you can only buy, visit, theorize about, or sexualize so many objects before you confront a void. You can only exploit and bend the natural order of things so much before you confront gaps and failure. You can only murder to dissect so many times before you begin to wonder if there is anything more to do.

Pushing on through the darkness, the materialist resorts to finesse. He or she revisits a basic action like consumption, and wonders if it can be enhanced when paired with politics and propaganda in order to revolutionize society.

What's Left Over? Merge with the Demon

Beware the implantation of a synthetic conscience, crafted by others. Image Source: pinterest.

I have a theory that our religions mirror our levels of technology. This post continues my What's Left Over? series, which describes two contending spiritual stances - the materialist and the anti-materialist - which are appearing in response to the Technological Revolution.

Science and technology refer to ways of doing, while the arts and theology describe ways of being. Neither can exist without the other. Ideally, they are used in balance. But the burgeoning technocracy thrives on doing; it pretends to support the arts and organic freedoms, while actually discouraging them. As a result, technologists have to build simulated versions of being to make up for the shortfall. Their simulacra of moral sensibilities are poor substitutes for the true human love of nature and mystery.

Left unfettered, technocrats will construct your personality and life from the outside in. And while their creed is superficially moral and progressive, it is grossly materialist, anti-human and anti-humane.

If you thought corporations and institutions were already corrupt, and rewarded the worst aspects of your nature and exploited your best instincts against you, imagine what it will be like inside the corporatist technocracy, where their externalized conscience will come from a chip, embedded in your brain and communicating with your cerebral cortex by way of a neural interlace.

This fake, mechanized, embedded chip conscience is the foundation stone of what the people at The Boiler Room podcast call the "technocratic dictatorship." Elon Musk is its leading proponent.

Musk was once Silicon Valley's space cowboy and he had a romantic heart. In a 2010 interview, his ex-first-wife Justine struggled with the loss of Musk's original visionary, who became her own "private Alexander the Great." In 2016, he wasn't completely gone. He named one of his droneships, 'Of Course I Still Love You.'

In 2014, Musk warned against the advent of artificial intelligence as "summoning the demon." Now a shadow of his former self, in July of this year he stammered out his new agenda, a brain-chip interface called Neuralink. Neuralink will allow us to merge with the demon and to "stay one step ahead" of it. This is supposedly the only way to survive the coming Singularity.

Bitcoin's Satoshi Reveal and Genetic Feudalism: I

Another 'Faketoshi' debuted this week and tried to claim the mantle of the anonymous Bitcoin inventor, Satoshi Nakamoto. Crypto watchers scoffed. The reveal was a hopelessly amateurish LARP. Faketoshi claimed he lost his 980,000 Bitcoins in a crashed laptop and that he deliberately uses bad English. He also does not make major decisions without checking their symbolic representations in a Chaldean numerology machine - and in the Bible.

I read Faketoshi's three-part bulletin so that you don't have to. I concluded was that this was not a Satoshi reveal at all. Beneath the blather, it seemed more sinister, a coded announcement about how Bitcoin will be used with Big Data to enslave us.

Mind you, I'm someone who concluded that Grammarly is spyware to track thoughtcrimes in writers' drafts folders.

Faketoshi stated he was a Pakistani Brit who is and was brilliant, although in truth he is and was more of a generalist who knew how to hire brilliant people. He is confidently coming forward now after a suicidal depression.

He had his hakuna matata years (warning: Disney reference) while he worked for the NHS. He spent years pretending that Bitcoin didn't exist and that he didn't invent it. But now, he's making a comeback to take Bitcoin in an exciting new direction. To do this, he has legally changed his name from Bilal Khalid to James Caan, because he is the Godfather of Bitcoin.

For someone who claims he was born in 1978, the reveal was filled with tone deaf cultural references suspiciously relevant to Baby Boomers (the reveal was dedicated to Steve Jobs?), rather than a younger generation. Faketoshi's Chaldean numerology, with its Babylonian disinformation, seemed to come straight from some Illuminati mystery sweat lodge.

Wait. Did he say he worked for the NHS?

Intermediate Range

Yesterday, the US Department of Defense tested a 500 km+ cruise missile in California (click the above image to play video). According to Defense One, this marks the end of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) treaty (signed 1987) and the beginning of a cruise missile arms race, with the United States eyeing China and Russia:
"'China poses a much larger and more sophisticated long-term military threat than Russia,' says Elbridge Colby, director of the defense program at the Center for a New American Security. 'Washington would benefit from having the ability to deploy survivable land-based ballistic and cruise missile systems.'

Colby and others cite China’s growing missile arsenal, most of which is conventional and falls within ranges covered by the INF Treaty. 'The fact that Beijing has such missiles,' writes Marc Thiessen, a fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, 'puts the United States at a strategic disadvantage in any conflict with Beijing…our only possible response would be to strike China with intercontinental ballistic missiles—an unacceptable escalation.'

Their solution: toss out the INF Treaty, develop an American arsenal of ground-launched intermediate-range missiles, and deploy them to allied territory in the western Pacific. This highly visible and survivable strike option would deter China, they argue, or provide the needed flexibility to hit targets in mainland China should conflict erupt (most likely over Taiwan)."
