TIMES, TIME, AND HALF A TIME. A HISTORY OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM.

Comments on a cultural reality between past and future.

This blog describes Metatime in the Posthuman experience, drawn from Sir Isaac Newton's secret work on the future end of times, a tract in which he described Histories of Things to Come. His hidden papers on the occult were auctioned to two private buyers in 1936 at Sotheby's, but were not available for public research until the 1990s.

Patreon and Substack Exclusive: A Serial from a New Novel: Vampire Daddy

Happy Lunar New Year! Come on over to Patreon and Substack, where I am sharing selections from my new novel in progress, Vampire Daddy.

In a future where humanity is extinct and vampires rule Mars, Lexi - a troubled five-hundred-year-old immortal - is ordered to father a child with a mysterious clone named Primeva, whose very existence defies the laws of God and science. Before her fragile body fails, they must return to the ruins of Earth, where Lexi can reclaim his lost soul - for only as a mortal man can he unite with Primeva to restore humankind.

Patreon Exclusive Series: A Retrospective on the Rise of the Information Age, 1926-2026

I have started a new Patreon series, including videos and written essays, which will trace the history of the rise of high technology, starting in the mid-1920s. It is hard to believe that the 1920s are now a century in the past, but as such, they deserve review as the original source of trends now associated with the Information Age and the Technological Revolution.

Check out the new series on Patreon.

Middle East Conflict: Discord, Telegram and Patreon

Exclusively for Patreon patrons, I am covering the Middle East conflict on an ongoing basis, with material above and beyond that shared on Discord and Telegram. Sign up for my Patreon coverage here.

ADDENDUM (22 June 2025)

Two details have emerged which may have received less coverage and are the type of information I include for patrons, along with an ongoing survey of general information on the conflict.

One, in March 2025, Iran discovered 7,000 tonnes of the rare earth mineral, antimony, which is critical for the defense industry.

Two, Situation Room photographs of US officials, including Trump, circulated on Telegram; they were taken at the exact moment of the attack on Iran. Note the Four Star General Dan Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, making occult hand signs. Caine is also a venture capitalist (Voyager Technologies; Thrive Capital; Ribbit Capital; and oddly - he co-founded an indigenous-owned Canadian airline, which serves Saskatchewan, Rise Air). You may recall my AI podcast on the only commercial rare earths processing facility in North America - located in Saskatchewan. You can see their website, here.

Everything Must Change So That Everything Can Stay the Same

Today's post for Patreon patrons takes its title from the famous line spoken by the dashing aristocratic character Tancredi Falconeri in The Leopard (novel (1958); film (1963)). In the post, I recognize that the prevalence of revolution in the past three centuries made it synonymous with modernity. But what does revolution really mean if its real outcomes have led the modern era into technocratic surveillance and servitude?

The Paris 2024 Olympics opened with reference to the French Revolution. You can see my related posts here, here and here. I ask again in today's post - what does modernity really mean if it was launched with a mass beheading event?

A Butterfly of Doom

Prompt: "A wooden bench in a grassy field."

This month on Patreon:

This month, for regular paid subscribers, the main article on Patreon will speculate on the mysteries of sapphire mines in Elahera, Sri Lanka. In 1976, a mine in this location sourced the gem in a very famous British royal engagement ring. For upper tier subscribers, there are sneak peeks at my lastest literary offerings. I'll provide an overview soon on my literary blog, The Dragonfly. Join us!

In addition for paid subscribers, I cover the crypto bull run markets, with a comprehensive airdrop discussion. Free offerings include my newsletter (sign up here, bottom of page), discord (go here), and telegram (here). Come on by!

At the free and paid levels, we discuss the implications as artificial intelligence converges with blockchain technology, amid the decline and fall of TradFi - and perhaps - of the whole traditional order! As we can see above, an AI-generated image is worth a thousand words.

While the disappearance of Kate Middleton from the public eye may not seem as important as wars in the Ukraine and Gaza, everything is connected. This is the oldest story in the book. Is Kate a Butterfly of Doom? A victim of Dragons Prefer Princesses? Or will she be, when all is said and done, an Apocalypse Maiden? Prophecies are Always Right - and whatever has been done to contradict them, You Can't Fight Fate.

A larger story materializes, as we gaze at a bench that was never occupied. Related archetypes are baked into our consciousness, and into our reality. Any betrayal carries with it a trick of the tail, because intentional ills, once inflicted, are always undone by the events which a willing sacrifice unlocks or catalyzes. From TV Tropes:

From Shakespeare Online, Shakespeare's Omens and Prophecies:

As stars with trains of fire and dews of blood,
Disasters in the sun; and the moist star
Upon whose influence Neptune's empire stands
Was sick almost to doomsday with eclipse:
And even the like precurse of fierce events,
As harbingers preceding still the fates
And prologue to the omen coming on,
Have heaven and earth together demonstrated
Unto our climatures and countrymen.

(Hamlet, 1.1)

At my nativity
The front of heaven was full of fiery shapes,
Of burning cressets; and at my birth
The frame and huge foundation of the earth
Shaked like a coward.

(1 Henry IV, 3.1)

Move in that obedient orb again
Where you did give a fair and natural light,
And be no more an exhaled meteor,
A prodigy of fear and a portent
Of broached mischief to the unborn times?

(1 Henry IV, 5.1)

Beware the ides of March.
(Julius Caesar, 1.2)

No natural exhalation in the sky,
No scope of nature, no distemper'd day,
No common wind, no customed event,
But they will pluck away his natural cause
And call them meteors, prodigies and signs,
Abortives, presages and tongues of heaven.

(King John, 3.4)

Calpurnia here, my wife, stays me at home:
She dreamt to-night she saw my statua,
Which, like a fountain with an hundred spouts,
Did run pure blood: and many lusty Romans
Came smiling, and did bathe their hands in it:
And these does she apply for warnings, and portents,
And evils imminent; and on her knee
Hath begg'd that I will stay at home to-day.

(Julius Caesar, 2.2)

These late eclipses in the sun and moon portend no good to us.
(King Lear, 1.2)
